Jade the Wild Mustang

Jade the “Wild Mustang”

In this episode of Reality Sisters we cover The Bachelor Season 19, The Bachelor Episode 8.

Just remember, our commentary on the podcast and in the posts are only our personal opinions provided for your entertainment purposes. Sadly, we have no insider information of any kind. We’d love for you to share your opinions too!

Here’s a brief teaser recap of what we talked about:

Lourdes actually pronounced Chris’ last name correctly (we think).

The episode starts with a Rose Ceremony. Britt thinks about leaving before the Rose Ceremony. Did she fear rejection or did she really want to leave? Britt pulls Chris aside to talk about their last group date and Chris got all Mushy Mouthed. However, Chris manned-up and he sends her home. Britt wails – loudly…very, very loudly. Lourdes imitates the wail. Was that wail real or an act? Was Carly mean in her assessment of Britt?

Sadly, Carly gets sent home. We’d like to see her as the next Bachelorette.

Seems like Chris always gives the first rose to Whitney. Is that a sign?

Hometowns

Becca

Becca looks like her sister but her sister “threw her under the bus.” What does she mean by “problems with intimacy.” What Becca’s mom said made sense, but her sister was very unfair.

We loved how Chris took Becca on the Ferris Wheel after meeting her family.

Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn takes Chris on a rapping date – yes they rap. Melly wrote a rap in honor of Carly to ABC and it goes like this.

“Hey ABC please listen to me, the next Bachelorette should be Carly”

We loved Kaitlyn’s family so much!

We still see Kaitlyn and Chris “in the buddy zone.” They don’t seem like a real couple, just really good friends.

Whitney
Chris asked Whitney who he is supposed to ask for her hand in marriage. Wow! That’s very telling! Whitney said to ask her sister and Chris did but Whitney’s sister would not give her approval as he is dating 3 other girls. We respect Whitney’s sister’s point and can’t see how she could have given her blessing under the circumstances.

Whitney is saving an expensive bottle of wine to share with the man that she’s going to marry. She brings it out on some one-on-one time with Chris after meeting her family. Should they really have had that wine? Chris didn’t go mushy-mouthed so that must have been ok.

Jade
Jade’s brothers called her a “wild mustang.” Why would they say that? What does this mean? Where the brothers wanting to warn Chris?

We love Jade’s dad so much! What a great dad. We love how much he believes in his daughter.

Jade reveals her big secret about having posed for Playboy to Chris. Chris was very appropriate and gracious about it. What was odd was that Jade showed the pictures right then and there to Chris. Talk about awkward! But Chris handled it well and was not judgmental at all. We like Chris even more now because of his response.

Jade gets sent home. We were not surprised. They just didn’t seem to have the same connection that he had with the other girls and we think he was concerned that he didn’t feel like he knew the real Jade. We think Jade stayed around longer than she would have otherwise, because his sisters chose her for the Cinderella date earlier in the season.

Question of the Week

What do you think about Becca’s sister and Whitney’s sister? Were the sisters appropriate and right in their conversations with Chris or did they throw their sister under-the-bus?
